About Me
Hi I'm Isaac, I'm an adrenaline-seeking, adventure-desiring 19-year-old with a passion to make a living at what I do. I'm a UK ambassador for North Kiteboarding and Mystic Boarding through my local school The Kitesurf Centre and the UK dealers Watersports World.

recently I decided to pursue videography as a way to make money. Herriott Productions is a creative 'business' where I hope to attract client work for photography, videography, social media marketing and more. I use the word business lightly as it's still early doors and I have much to learn but one day I hope it will take me around the world.
My backstory
The Beginings
My life starts in Hastings, a small town in the southeast of the UK. I grew up in a family of 5, my mum, dad and two brothers. The Herriott's are a fairly active family, doing a variety of sports, going on family holidays, and making rope swings in the woods. I started with sports such as football, swimming basketball etc. My interest grew up then off the land and into the water.

Sailing
I've always been fascinated by the water, ever since I can remember my dad has windsurfed, sailed and kitesurfed. I followed in his footsteps and joined the local sailing club at 10 years old. I started racing toppers but quickly found it was the adrenaline and adventure I craved, so I moved up to catamarans. After racing for 5ish years I decided to start teaching, my club paid for all my qualifications, so alongside my GCSEs, in 2019 I became a dingy instructor. And now have undergone my day skipper theory exam with the hopes to one day circumnavigate around the world.

In 2019 when I was 16, I took my hunt for adventure and adrenaline to the next level, my dad taught me how to kite surf. I quickly became hooked and spent all my time scrolling through the forecast or spending time on the water. I specialised in the discipline of big air, as although the UK is cold and wet it can get pretty windy. I started making vlogs, attending events, competing and being active on social media. I became a grom for duotone kiteboarding UK up until age 18 (2021) when I made the switch to be a north kiteboarding and mystic boarding national team rider.

Work Antics
No, I'm not a fully sponsored kitesurfer, I still have to work!!!!! After labouring for a bespoke cabinet maker I put my sailing qualifications to good use, over the 2022 summer I worked at a local centre teaching sailing, and they also trained me as a wing foil and windsurf instructor. Once it started to get cold I applied for a job in Greece, the next week I was flown out to teach windsurfing in Vassiliki and then Rhodes 5 weeks later. This changed my perspective and sparked a fire in me to live a life of travel, working abroad and adventure. so have recently applied for a working holiday visa in Australia and am currently awaiting the result.....
Now you're up to date from the 30th November 2022 5:37 pm
